Changes

This blog is now labeled to address more accurately what I want to share: the savvy gained from years of travel in Europe and the US, with the purpose of seeking out amazing architecture and artefacts ranging from the Bronze Age to the Renaissance. Keeping watercolour journals has been an integral part of this travel, not only documenting what I have found but helping me to understand what I see more clearly while adding a great deal of enjoyment to the travel experience. I am currently planning a trip to the 'Jurassic Coast' of England in the next few weeks and will post the ins and outs of how to find a self-catering property that is more comfortable than a four star hotel, at a third the price, how to get through TSA with painting materials and do it with carry-on luggage only, lightly and comfortably. If you like to travel in comfort, enjoy art, architecture, and history, prefer going at your own pace, and like to learn about the local culture first hand, check in here regularly for helpful tips and links.
